About Us

Our Story

Dancing on Eire School of Irish Dance was formed in February 2014 under the direction of Lauren Witts-Falcone. What began with 4 dancers in a local fire hall, has transformed into some 40+ dancers. In Fall 2018, Dancing on Eire moved to their own studio space in Schwenksville, and we have called it home ever since.

Our Mission

Dancing on Eire is a primarily performance based Irish Dance School located in Schwenksville, PA.  Our goal is to provide quality Irish Dance instruction in a fun, nurturing environment. We strive to not only teach Irish Step dancing, but also Irish culture and history. While we primarily focus on community involvement and performances, competition opportunities are also available.  The overall goal of our school is a place for students to have fun and make new friendships.

Dance Training and Background

Miss Lauren has been dancing since the age of 3.  She began her performing arts with ballet and tap, later expanding to jazz and hip-hop as well.  Miss Lauren had the privilege of going en pointe at age 11.  She continued to explore all types of dance throughout college, including swing, ballroom, African and salsa.

Miss Lauren began her Irish dance journey at age 9.  At this time Riverdance was exploding around the world and Irish dance was gaining popularity.  Miss Lauren danced with Pride of Erin, a performance based school.  With them she had the opportunity to perform 50+ shows a year.  Miss Lauren has performed for schools and nursing homes as well as for birthdays, weddings and special events.  She has also had the honor of dancing in several Philadelphia St. Patrick's day parades, Hershey Park, the Boscov's Thanksgiving Day parade, Washington D.C. for the National 4th of July events, Miss America Pageants and Walt Disney World.

Miss Lauren also received training from the Gaelic Roots Irish Dance camp at Boston College, Summer 2003.  Here she studied under world renowned dancers, such as Donny Golden, Liam Harney, Michael Maguire, Kathleen O'Shea Maguire and Colette Devline McAllister.   Miss Lauren also competed briefly with the Ryan School of Irish Dance under the direction of Christina Ryan-Kilcoyne.

Assistant Teachers

Breana Haselbarth

Breana has been Irish Dancing since she was 3 years old.  She started with Caitrin Academy of Irish Dance under Kate Wosczyna.  Later, after recovering from an injury, Breana danced briefly with the Aisling Mor Academy under Teresa Hesenger Lewis before heading to college.  This reignited her passion for Irish Dance and while studying at Temple University she became a part of their Irish Dance and Cultural Club.  She served as Treasurer of the club and Director of Administration, one of their co-president roles. She was very involved in performances over her Irish Dance career, visiting many local nursing homes and bars, as well as performing in the Conshohocken Saint Patrick's Day Parade, the Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade, the Skippack 4th of July Parade, and more. Breana is looking forward to helping out in some of the Level 1 and 2 classes!

Outside of Irish Dance Breana recently graduated from Temple with her Master of Architecture degree and moved back to her hometown of Skippack.  She is very involved with many organizations including the Alaskan Malamute Club of America, the Alaskan Malamute Association of Eastern Pennsylvania, Finding Shelter Animal Rescue, and more.  Her deep love for animals comes from her mom, who is a vet tech, which has led to many pets at home!  She currently resides with her two Alaskan Malamutes, Winter and Kieran, and her cat, Rowan.

Emilie Noska

Emilie has been Irish dancing since she was 5 years old. Under the direction of Miss Lauren, she began her dance journey after seeing a performance in her elementary talent show. A decade later, she was introduced to the world of competitive Irish dance. Through dance and competition, she has participated in numerous parades—including the Conshohocken and Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parades—local events, a Disney performance, and competitions ranging from Massachusetts to Maryland. Around the same time she began competing, she also began to assist Miss Lauren with classes, where she found her passion for teaching!

Emilie is currently attending Kutztown University, where she is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education (PreK-4) with minors in Psychology and Library Science. On campus, she works as a Tour Guide and Library Receptionist Student Lead, and she is actively involved in more than six different clubs! Outside of dance and academics, Emilie loves to read, listen to music, and spend time with her friends, family, and dogs. At home she has two Mini Goldendoodles, Zuko and Azula, who will occasionally make appearances at dance events!

What is one piece of advice she would give new dancers?

Dancing is about having fun and meeting new people! Don't compare yourself to others and your scores don't define who you are as a person and dancer!

What can she found doing when she isn't dancing?

I do cheerleading for PVHS and I take weekly jazz class at PADA. I like to make friendship bracelets, hang out with my friends, and go out to eat.
